PUNCHING RULES
The tonnage capacity is different from machine to machine. Use the rule in this section to avoid exceeding the maximum tonnage. On machines with High Turret tooling system it is recommended not to exceed 75% of the maximum machine tonnage. With this tool it is also possible to calculate the die clearance: the difference between the die diameter and the punch diameter. The result of the ruler refers to the standard die backlash recommended by us. These may vary depending on the final quality of the product you wish to obtain and the type of machine.
